Where the Wild Things Were: Life, Death, and Ecological Wreckage in a Land of Vanishing Predators

Where the Wild Things Were: Life, Death, and Ecological Wreckage in a Land of Vanishing Predators - William Stolzenburg Very interesting ecology book focusing on the effects of big predators - their removal and re-introduction. There isn't much to say that hasn't been said in previous reviews. The writing style is personable and not overly technical, but doesn't dumb down the subject at all.

Minus one star for failing to include any sort of diagrams for important concepts - it is a missed opportunity.
